Overgrown rows are more than an access problem.
Long grass and unmanaged undergrowth around fruit trees and vines don’t just make a block hard to walk through, they create cover for the exact pests that go after your crop. Rats and mice will nest in thick, grassy ground cover and climb into trees to get at ripening fruit; slugs, snails and other unwanted insects thrive in damp, overgrown undergrowth; and dense growth around the base of trees and vines cuts down airflow, which can encourage fungal and disease pressure. Keeping the ground mown isn’t just about being able to get through, it’s part of protecting the crop itself.

Is this only for big commercial orchards and vineyards?
No, most of our orchard and vineyard mowing is for lifestyle blocks and home growers with a handful of rows or trees, not large commercial operations. If it’s overgrown and you can’t get through anymore, that’s exactly what this service is for.
Is this a one-off job or an ongoing service?
Either. Some lifestyle blocks just need a one-off tidy-up when things have gotten away, others prefer a regular visit through the growing season so it never gets that bad again, whichever suits you.
